The Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev) has announced a grant of $150,000 for downtown Whitby. The announcement was made in Whitby yesterday by Ryan Turnbull, Whitby Member of Parliament (MP), in the presence of town officials, including Mayor Elizabeth Roy.

Today, Ryan Turnbull, Member of Parliament for Whitby, and His Worship Jeff Leal, Mayor of the City of Peterborough, announced over $2.1 million in federal funding for infrastructure improvements that will help protect people and property from flooding.
